What is My Staycation Box? My Staycation box is a travel themed subscription box company that aims to bring the joy of traveling to those who need an escape. Each month a box arrives at your doorstep containing 6-8 different products touching on all five senses and regionally sourced and inspired by that month's destination. There is one destination theme per month and it changes each month. The destination themes range from Caribbean beaches to Mediterranean countries, American favorites to exotic Pacific Island locales. Also in each box, customers receive a postcard greeting on one side and on the reverse side is an itemized guide showing you how to plot out your staycation using the products in the box with additional info on how to get more of products you liked the most.
Are the products in each box the same? While each box does contain items that appeal to all five senses, the variety of the items change each month. One month may have a combination of one guide book, a CD, mini candle, bottle of sauce and various handmade souvenirs such as a handmade bar of soap or handmade bracelet. Another month may have promotional print material about the destination, a room spray, snacks or sauce, a mini instrument and a handmade key chain. We do teaser photos as each month's theme is announced via the company's website and social media channels, however only reveal half of what will actually be in that months box? Why? It's the "Christmas morning" effect, where you may know one or two items you might be getting from Santa Claus, but you may not know everything under wrapped under the tree. It adds mystery and fun of what else could be in this months box.
When will I get rebilled? Accounts are rebilled on the 20th of every month. How do I get a refund? We accept returns on orders within 30 days of the order date, when the products are unused, unopened, and in their original packaging. Refunds are issued once the return order has been received and inspected. You will be refunded the amount of your original order within 7-10 business days of inspection. Note: My Staycation Box does not provide prepaid return shipping labels and is not responsible for returned shipping costs. After 30 days, orders are no longer eligible for return or refund. We do not accept returns or refunds for discounted Introductory subscription boxes. We do not refund original shipping fees on any order.
How do I cancel my subscription? We understand some choose to not continue with their subscription, but it still saddens us that you wish to cancel! To cancel, please email our My Staycation Box Advisors via firstname.lastname@example.org. You must cancel by midnight of the 20th in order to not be billed for the current month's box. But remember, you always have the option to skip a month.
What subscription options does My Staycation Box offer? Choose either a month to month subscription at $40 per month or a three month subscription at $35 per month billed up front for $105. Single box purchases are also available too.
Can I cancel my subscription or skip a month? Yes! Simply go into your account and adjust your subscription shipping/billing options.
When are boxes shipped? Boxes are shipped once a month on the 10th. The only exception are those who just buy a single box. Single box purchases from past month offerings are shipped within 24-48 hours of when the order is placed as long as all the items for the box are in stock. If items are not in stock, shipment of the box may take 7-10 days. To check whether a box is in stock, email us at email@example.com
